Redupax® is an underlay that has been extensively tested internationally on both a concrete and a wooden surface and thus proved to be the first of its kind to comply with the standards and recommendations of the Building Decree. It therefore bears the TNO product label. Redupax® achieves an impact sound reduction, tested under load of 23 kg per m2, of 20 dB ΔLw / 10 dB ΔLlin in combination with click laminate and 22 dB ΔLw / 10 dB ΔLlin in combination with glued laminate, based on the new European standard NEN- BS-EN-ISO 140-8 / 717-2
(NPR 5079).
This makes Redupax® the most ideal underlay for laminate and parquet and guarantees a longer lifespan. This improvement was obtained on a concrete floor with an attached screed *.
Redupax® is provided with a VVP layer. This layer ensures that no annoying fibers are released during the cutting and processing of the panels and it contributes to the particularly good noise-reducing properties.
Redupax® is composed of pure natural residual wood from poplar, birch and coniferous trees and is therefore completely environmentally friendly. The Redupax® panels are therefore natural in color. In addition to the aforementioned noise reduction, Redupax® also provides a high degree of thermal insulation and a leveling of irregularities of up to 3 mm in every bearing floor.
