STEP Sealer #6100 Tropical Wood has been specially developed for the insulation and prevention of defects caused by aggressive ingredients in untreated tropical woods. In addition, STEP Sealer #6100 can be applied without any seams, flows smoothly and gives the wood a warm colour.
Product description Step Sealer for tropical wood,
Water-based 1-component sealer with insulating properties suitable for untreated wood. Very suitable for insulating and preventing defects caused by aggressive ingredients from tropical wood types, such as kambala (iroko), afzelia and basralocus. STEP Sealer #6100 Tropical Wood also gives a warm colouring and also strengthens the wood glow. Can be applied without overlapping, flows smoothly and does not yellow. Can be painted over after at least 24 hours (must harden to be able to insulate) and then finished with SKYLT or STEP Parquet varnishes.

System construction Step Sealer for tropical wood,
Only apply to untreated wood.
1 coat of STEP Sealer #6100 Tropical Wood and 2 coats of SKYLT topcoat or STEP Parquet Lacquer of your choice.
Before applying the final coat of lacquer, sand the surface with P120.
FOR THE PROCESSOR:
- Water-based 1-component sealer.
- Isolates and prevents defects by isolating aggressive ingredients from tropical woods such as kambala (iroko), afzelia and basralocus.
- Can be processed without any residue and flows smoothly.
- Can be painted over after at least 24 hours; must harden before it can be insulated.
- System: 1 layer of STEP Sealer #6100 Tropical Wood; then finish with 2 to 3 layers of SKYLT or STEP Parquet Varnishes.
