Osmo Primer 7000 White,

Osmo Primer 7000 is suitable for any exterior wood for which a white finish is required before installation. Ideal for wooden cladding, wooden trusses and purlins, eaves, facades, balconies, fences, pergolas, garden sheds, carports and other dimensionally stable and unstable elements.

Osmo primer is ideal for the first layer before installation, for example directly in the workshop.
The Primer is designed for a professional and particularly fast effect. It is very drip-resistant and extremely quick-drying.

Surface preparation,

The wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (outside temperature min. +5 C, moisture content max. 18%). Osmo Primer is ready to use. Stir well. Thoroughly clean old microporous stains. Old paints, varnishes and lacquers must be completely removed. Always wear a dust mask when sanding. If additional protection against blue mold, rot and insects is desired, pre-treat the wood on all sides if possible with Osmo WR 4001 Wood Impregnation.

The finished surface is affected by several factors, including the condition of the wood. That is why a test is always necessary, especially for new surfaces.

Note,

Osmo Country House Paint or Osmo Opaque Stain in white or light colors is recommended for the top layer. Please note: When using products other than those recommended, it is imperative to use only high quality wood finishes for the intended use. In such cases, a trial treatment is always necessary (for processing, drying, adhesion). Many wood species contain water-soluble colored extractives that can leach out naturally as they weather. The oils and resins in exotic woods and certain hardwoods (Oak, Pine, Larch, etc.) must weather before application. This makes the wood absorbent and the wood finish adheres optimally.

Apply Osmo Primer,

Using the flat brush or paint roller below, apply the dry wood thinly along the grain - if possible on all sides - and distribute it evenly.
