Greenfix is ​​a good protective, hardening, vegetable furniture oil (based on linseed oil). Greenfix prevents stains, improves wear resistance and protects wood optimally against moisture and heat. Suitable for all types of wood with an oil or wax coating, but also ideal for oiling unprocessed wood such as oak, cherry, colonial (teak), beech, pine and pine.

 

Greenfix gives the furniture a natural and warm appearance. Because Greenfix is ​​also based on linseed oil, the untreated type of wood always turns a little darker after treatment, especially with teak. After some time it is advisable to first clean / degrease the furniture (before applying a new layer of Greenfix) with Woodclean intensive wood cleaner!

 

Greenfix is ​​also suitable as maintenance oil for furniture that is provided with a wax layer. Greenfix can be applied directly over the wax layer, but preferably or pre-treatment with Woodclean intensive wood cleaner. Greenfix is ​​also suitable as a maintenance tool for wooden garden furniture and furniture with a layer of lacquer. However, in the maintenance of lacquered wood furniture we prefer Elite furniture polish or Meuboline (especially suitable for lacquered furniture).

 

Ensure a clean surface. Preferably first clean the surface to be treated with Woodclean intensive wood cleaner. Apply greenfix thinly on a clean dry cloth and rub the surface with it. Allow the treated surface to dry for about 5 to 10 minutes and then gently rub again with a clean dry cloth. For furniture that seems somewhat skimpy, repeat the treatment again. Repeat the treatment approximately 2 to 3 times a year. Tip! New untreated furniture should be provided with a minimum of 2 to 3 thin layers of Greenfix (dry in between).

Stains
Preferably remove stains immediately with a tissue or cloth. Try to remove permanent stains with a cloth that has been moistened with Woodclean intensive wood cleaner. Treat the treated surface or post-treat it with a bit of Greenfix. Try to remove stubborn stains or rings in the furniture with a very fine steel wool or scourer (possibly in combination with Woodclean). Then always repeat with Greenfix!

Extra information
Always wash cloths or sponges soaked with Greenfix airtight in, for example, a metal container or rinse thoroughly with water. This is due to the self-ignition danger of the linseed oil that is in Greenfix! If untreated wood species are put in the oil, the treated wood is always slightly warmer (darker) in color (given the linseed oil). This is particularly noticeable with tropical hardwood (oateak).
