Osmo light colored hard wax oil for a bright light colored looking surface. Based on natural vegetable oils and waxes with a so-called open pore structure. This allows the wood to continue to breathe and will not crack, flake or peel.

Product description,
Transparent, silk-matt finish that combines all the benefits of oils and waxes in a unique product. Osmo Hardwax-Oil Farbig is resistant to water and dirt, is wear-resistant and provides a surface with grip.
Compared to conventional finishes, the natural vegetable oils and waxes ensure an even color and a harmonious, even surface. Simple processing - without priming or intermediate sanding - saves time and money. The open pore structure prevents the finish from cracking, flaking or flaking. Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water
in accordance with DIN 68861-1A - no water spots.
The dried finish is harmless to humans, animals and plants (saliva and sweat resistant lt. DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys lt. NL 71.3).

Application,
Osmo Hardwax Oil Farbig is ideal for the protection and decorative finishing of all wooden surfaces
floors such as floors made of solid parts, planks, ship deck floors, OSB and cork floors, but also
for furniture. It is only recommended for light woods.

Osmo Hardwax Oils have been developed based on natural oils and waxes to provide the most wear-resistant and durable protection for wooden floors and furniture.

All known properties of the original Hardwax Oil (Farbig) Tints are water-repellent, dirt-repellent and durable. The surface is pleasant to the touch, has an even and harmonious appearance and is based on natural, renewable, vegetable raw materials.

• Number of coats: apply a thin colored surface in the direction of the wood grain and spread it well. In the case of untreated wood, max. 2 layers.
• After drying, apply a top coat with a colorless Osmo Hardwax Oil 3032 or 3062 (always 2 to 3 coats on the 3041).
• Osmo Hardwax Oil on color FARBIG is available in 0.125 / 0.75 / 2.5 and 25 liters
• 1 liter is sufficient for approximately 25 / 30 m 2 at 1 layer
• Drying time approx. 24 hours.
• Always finish with 1 layer of transparent hard wax oil 3032 or 3062 (even two layers for pine, spruce, etc.).
• Do you want a White Wash floor? then you use the 3040 in 1 layer and finish it with 1 layer 3032 or 3062 with which you get a nice white haze over the floor.

Preparation,
The wooden substrate must be clean, dry and frost-free (max 18% moisture content).
Osmo Hardwax-Oil Farbig is ready to use, do not dilute. Stir well.
Thoroughly clean old open-pore finishes. Old paint and varnish layers must be removed. Always use a dust mask when sanding.
Fill small cracks, larger seams or holes in the wood (Osmo Wood Paste).
Carefully sand the wooden surface, starting with coarse sandpaper - final sanding for floors P120-150, for furniture P180-240.
Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust by sweeping and vacuuming.
The end result depends, among other things, on the wood structure, making a test piece is recommended.

Instructions,
Open the can and stir well with a stirrer or otherwise,
For transparent colours: Apply evenly and thinly with the special paint rollers and/or brushes below, apply the floor brush in the direction of the wood grain and smooth out thoroughly.
Leave to dry for 24 hours with good ventilation.
For an intense color repeat the process up to 2x.
For light-colored stain effect: Within 20 minutes after application, wipe in the direction of the wood grain with the cotton cloths below.
Leave to dry for 24 hours with good ventilation.

For intensive colour: Use Osmo Decor Wax Important: Floors maximum 1x with Hardwax Oil
Treating bad. After drying proceed to apply a final coat of Osmo Hardwax oil colorless.

CLEANING THE TOOLS
With Osmo Brush Cleaner (aromatics free).

DRYING TIME Approx. 24 hours (normal conditions, 23°C/50%, normal humidity). Lower temperatures and/or high humidity can affect drying time.
Allow to dry with good ventilation. After about 2-3 weeks, the surface is completely cured.
