Number of coats: two coats on untreated or bare-sanded wood. For renovations, one coat applied to a clean and dry surface is normally sufficient – without sanding!

Osmo Door Oil is resistant to dirt, water and wear.
Suitable for wood; micro porous surface will not crack, flake or blister.
Resistant to wine, coffee and water. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants

There are two types of Osmo Door Oil,
Type 3060: is a colorless variant that deepens the color of the wood after treatment, this is also called the wet look effect. This means that it looks like it has been wet.
Type 3033 Raw: this contains a small amount of white pigment. This ensures that light woods remain light in colour, but dark woods will dry slightly lighter, so no wet look is created when applying this type. The light color of the sanded wood is preserved.

Doors and other wood made from tropical hardwoods can also be treated with Osmo Blanke Wax . This product has been specially developed for tropical woods, but this makes the wood slightly darker and the layer is more exposed. If you prefer to keep this wood light, please contact us for the right advice.

Preparation;
The wooden substrate must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%).
Osmo Door Oil is ready for use. Do not dilute. Shake well before use.
Thoroughly clean old micro porous stains. Old paints, varnishes and lacquers must be completely removed.
Always make a test first, every surface absorbs differently.
 
Application: Thinly and evenly with the Osmo brush or Osmo microfibre roller.
Apply with the grain of the wood on the clean and dry wood and distribute evenly.
Ensure good ventilation during drying.
After drying and apply second coat - also thin.
 
Drying time: Approx. 24 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 ̊C/50% relative humidity) Ventilate well during drying.
Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can extend the drying time.

Note: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
When seeking medical advice, have container or label available. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Note: Wash cloths soaked with the liquid product immediately after use or store them airtight in a metal container (danger of spontaneous combustion).
The dried finish complies with DIN 4102 class B2 (normally flammable).
