The softboard underfloor plates are produced in a so-called wet production process. Wood fibers are mixed with water and pumped into a shaping machine. This process creates a fiber mat that is passed through a drying tunnel where the bond between the wood fibers is established. The bonding is done by the natural adhesives present in the wood itself. No glues, artificial binders (or formaldehyde) are added. The plates are completely environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
