Strato 101 joint sealant has been a winner in the market for many years! Joint sealant to be used in combination with sanding dust and mix to a peanut butter thick substance. The Strato 101 joint sealant does not sound in, does not mark and is suitable for exotic woods, among other things. Can be sanded after 30 minutes of drying.

In view of the components of the wood type, Afzelia can disproportionately discolour the joint sealant compared to the wood discolouration. Example: Lighter discolouration of the sealant in nail holes, light surfaces where the sealant has remained in the open pores of the wood.

Mixing / Processing:
Type of sanding dust for burgundy floors:
- When using red discs (aluminium oxide):
Use edge sanding dust grit P100
- When using blue discs (zirconium):
Use edge sanding dust grit P120

Type of sanding dust for tapis pattern floors: Use belt sanding dust grit P120
Carefully sieve sanding dust using a mesh disc to clean the sanding dust from large dust flakes. Collect the dust, carefully pour the Strato 101 into the sanding dust and mix it in a plastic bucket with a mixing whisk (23.22.098).
Note: dose carefully as the peanut butter mass must be thick. Then the mass preferably with a 35 cm. insert a wide stainless steel trowel (article number 25.40.012B), with the power of two hands.
If the joint compound becomes too heavy, only dilute with Strato 101.
During the drying process, the floor can be sanded again after +/- 30 minutes (at ± 50% relative humidity and 20°C), provided there is sufficient ventilation.
