The sizes of most regular machines are always 13 or 16 inches, so 33 or 40 cm, but the pad or grinding net size doesn't really matter in this case, as long as the machine is "on" the floor, so the edges are always higher then the floor itself you can basically put any pad or grinding net / sanding disc underneath.
