Bona Mix and Fill PLUS (Professional Joint Kit),
Bona Mix and Fill Plus is a water-based joint sealant with a high solids content for the fast and efficient filling of nail holes and joints in the wooden floor. The product is mixed with the sanding dust of the floor to be treated so that a natural color is created that matches the rest of the floor.

Bona Mix and Fill Plus has a high filling capacity, is quick-drying and water-based, yet rust-resistant (no permanent stains). NB! The product can be used without problems with oak and lighter woods, with joints up to 3 mm wide. And, not entirely unimportant; it complies with VOC legislation.

Instructions for use Bona Mix & Fill Plus,
Make sure the floor is well acclimatised, dry and free of wax, dirt and other contaminants. Sand the floor bare with grit 60/80 for the last sanding pass).
The temperature in the room and of the product must not fall below +13°C during application and drying.
1. Shake the can well before use.
2. Preferably mix the product in a container with fine and clean sanding dust until a smooth and flexible mass. Use sanding dust from either the 80-grit edge sander or, if necessary, the 120-grit belt sander.
3. Apply the joint sealant in all holes and joints with a stainless steel spatula and repeat this procedure if necessary.
4. When the surface is dry, sand off any excess Mix & Fill Plus with a 100-120 grit belt and edge sander.
5. Finish the floor with a Bona (or other) finish as instructed.
Comments,
Joints in plank floors or end grain are usually not filled.
Dry filler may partially break loose as the floor shrinks and expands.
Bona can only give a guarantee on the delivered product itself. Due to the wide variety of wood species and possible applications, no responsibility can be taken for the installed total product.
Certain rare woods (mainly tropical) or chemically treated wood can cause unforeseen reactions.
If in doubt, carry out a test to verify that the product works properly and that it is color fast.

Cleaning : Wipe off tool residue before cleaning.
Then clean with water. Dried material can be removed mechanically or by scrubbing with water.
Waste: waste and empty cans must be disposed of according to local regulations
Storage/transport : the temperature must not be lower than +5°C and not higher than +25°C. Close the can immediately after use.
Shelf life: at least 1 year after production date in unopened original packaging, keep frost-free
